Le/la  Technicien(ne) en investigation est responsable d'investiguer les problèmes techniques rencontrés sur les équipements et systèmes, d'identifier les causes des défaillances et de contribuer à la résolution des problèmes afin d'assurer la fiabilité et la continuité des opérations.

La personne recherchée doit être à l'aise avec le  diagnostic de problèmes électriques, mécaniques et électromécaniques et être capable de travailler de façon méthodique pour trouver la cause d'un problème.

Responsabilités principales

• Investiguer et diagnostiquer les problèmes techniques sur les équipements;
• Identifier les causes racines des défaillances;
• Effectuer du dépannage électrique, mécanique et électromécanique;
• Analyser les symptômes et déterminer les actions correctives appropriées;
• Effectuer les réparations, ajustements et remplacements de composantes nécessaires;
• Lire et interpréter des plans, schémas électriques et documents techniques;
• Effectuer des tests afin de valider le bon fonctionnement des équipements;
• Documenter les problèmes rencontrés, les investigations effectuées et les solutions apportées;
• Collaborer avec les équipes de maintenance, de production et d'ingénierie;
• Participer à l'amélioration de la fiabilité des équipements;
• Respecter les normes et procédures de santé et sécurité.

Profil recherché

• DEP en électromécanique, mécanique industrielle, électricité ou domaine connexe;
• Expérience pertinente en maintenance industrielle ou dépannage;
• Solides connaissances en électricité et mécanique;
• Expérience avec des équipements automatisés;
• Capacité à lire des plans et schémas techniques;
• Bonne capacité d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes;
• Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en équipe;
• Bon sens de l'organisation et souci du détail;
• Attitude positive et professionnelle;
• Approche sécuritaire en tout temps.

Atouts

• Expérience dans un environnement manufacturier ou industriel;
• Expérience avec des systèmes automatisés;
• Expérience en diagnostic de pannes complexes;
• Expérience en maintenance préventive et corrective;
• Expérience avec une GMAO;
• Expérience dans un environnement ferroviaire ou similaire.

What You'll Bring:

• DEP in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, or electromechanical investigation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
• Ability to diagnose complex equipment failures and identify root causes.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with maintenance, production, and engineering teams.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and established procedures.
• Good communication skills and the ability to clearly document technical findings and corrective actions.

What Sets You Apart:

• Experience investigating recurring equipment failures and implementing permanent corrective actions.
• Experience working with automated production equipment, PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, conveyors, and other industrial systems.
• Experience using CMMS/GMAO systems to document maintenance activities.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, transportation, rail, or another complex industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset with the ability to work methodically under pressure.
• Experience working closely with production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Leadership or team-lead experience is considered an asset.
• Bilingual French and English is an asset.
• A positive, proactive, hands-on attitude and strong interest in learning and developing within a global organization.
