Carhop

This position serves product to guests.

Job duties include ensuring product meets operational, quality, and appearance standards before delivery, delivering product to guests by carrying and balancing a tray weighing up to 25 pounds, providing friendly, quick, and polite service to guests, promptly responding to guest requests, reporting customer complaints/issues to manager on duty, assisting guest with payment, making accurate change quickly and efficiently, clearing trays and trash from guests' vehicles, patio, drive-thru, and parking lot, complying with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards, performing regular cleaning and sanitation duties, and regular attendance.

Additional duties include reporting employee complaints/issues to manager on duty, moving and stocking food product weighing up to 50 pounds, completing skating carhop training requirements, performing duties while on roller skates, and performing other job-related duties as assigned or required.

Time/shift expectations are flexible work schedules, irregular hours; days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications and job requirements include general restaurant or retail knowledge preferred, basic math and reading skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to follow directions, customer service and multi-tasking skills.

Work environment includes continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, lifting, and skating (for Skating Carhops) in a restaurant environment; frequent exposure to heat and hot liquid shortening while cooking; frequent exposure to freezer when stocking food items; occasional exposure to extreme temperatures based on variable weather conditions.
