Job Responsibilities:

As an HHA, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support).
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition.
• Assisting with medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Monitoring clients' well-being and reporting changes to supervisors.

• Physically Capable - Must be able to lift 50 lbs and assist clients with mobility.
• Great Communicators - Ability to interact professionally with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or completion of a state-approved training program.
• Valid NYS Driver's License & Reliable Transportation.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Possession of a current Certificate of Completion in a New York Department of Health Approved Program for Home Health Aides.

• Demonstrate ability to communicate orally and in writing.

• Demonstrate an empathetic, caring, and dependable demeanor.

• Possession of a New York State driver's license and available automobile.

Preferred but Not Required:

• Experience in home healthcare or caregiving.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Familiarity with assistive devices and mobility aids.
• Ability to cook nutritious meals and perform household tasks.
