$2284.80/week - Job Summary: Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) for the ER Lab at an acute care facility, providing weekday weekend coverage in Syracuse. The role involves performing point-of-care testing, clerical duties, and supporting FSED operations with a focus on accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Conduct point-of-care testing to ensure rapid and accurate results. Perform clinical laboratory tests following established protocols and quality standards. Assist with clerical tasks as directed by nursing and lab management to support operational efficiency. Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and quality assurance policies. Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth laboratory operations and patient care. Adhere to regulatory requirements and complete documentation accurately. Qualifications: Must hold an ASCP certification as MLS, CLS, or Medical Technologist. Demonstrate proficiency in point-of-care testing procedures. Possess at least 2 years of clinical lab experience. Be willing to perform clerical duties and support FSED operations. Hold current certifications and comply with healthcare safety standards.
