Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Wichita Falls, TX | Stepdown/PCU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 or 4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite | 84 hours biweekly scheduled, 72-hour guarantee

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting with the ability to float and primarily support Med/Surg units
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate or progressive care, escalating as appropriate
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care plans and ensure continuity of care
• Complete orientation modules as required during onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in-hand prior to start
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Nursys verification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system strongly preferred
• PCU-level experience with ability to support higher acuity patients
