Key Responsibilities\n

  • Recognize and navigate resistance and conflict effectively while working with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals, utilizing appropriate interventions to mitigate tension and promote productive dialogue.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, adhering to established documentation standards while ensuring all assessments, treatment plans, and communications with external agencies are thoroughly documented.

  • Apply your knowledge of the latest DSM diagnostic criteria, particularly as it applies to children and adolescents, to assess and identify clients' developmental needs.
  • \n
  • Utilize evidence-based practices such as behavior modification, assertiveness training, and supportive therapy to aid clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to gather relevant data regarding patients' medical, social, and emotional circumstances, utilizing effective interviewing and collaboration with healthcare team members.
  • \n
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on a thorough understanding of each client's strengths, needs, and cultural considerations, adjusting these plans as necessary to reflect the evolving needs of clients.

  • Lead educational and therapeutic group sessions, document participant goals and feedback, and encourage active engagement in their recovery process.

  • Participate in treatment-planning meetings to share insights, progress updates, and strategies for overcoming therapeutic hurdles that clients may experience.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.

  • Active and independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to maintain focus in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish therapeutic rapport with clients.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
