Senior Complex Casualty Claims Specialist. Job in Marlton Move Collective Jobs

Senior Claims Resolution Specialist At Liberty Mutual, we are dedicated to supporting individuals during their most challenging times, and we extend that same commitment to our employees. Our Complex Casualty Claims Team is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Claims Resolution Specialist who possesses extensive technical knowledge, strong critical thinking abilities, and a commitment to doing what is right. Why You Should Consider This Role As a Senior Claims Resolution Specialist, you will take charge of severe auto and homeowner's casualty claims, navigating through litigation processes, collaborating with legal counsel, and formulating strategic approaches. Your expertise will be crucial in influencing pivotal decisions on significant claims, supported by leaders who value your experience. This position offers flexibility, being either remote or hybrid, with only an expectation to meet in the office just two days a month for those near a hub location. With opportunities for advanced technical training and mentorship, we are committed to expanding your professional impact. Additionally, external candidates with an active FL or TX All‑Lines Adjuster License may qualify for a $2,500 sign‑on bonus. Your Responsibilities Oversee the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of complex casualty claims related to auto and homeowner's insurance. Evaluate coverage, liability, and damage assessments; propose settlement strategies and elevate as needed for authority review. Identify potentially suspicious claims and refer them to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU); discover opportunities for third‑party subrogation. Work closely with trial counsel; represent the company at mediations, arbitrations, trials, hearings, and conferences. Prepare detailed litigation and trial reports for both local management and the Home Office. Effectively communicate with policyholders, witnesses, attorneys, and claimants to gather insights and provide assistance. Respond to a variety of written and verbal inquiries, including status updates. Maintain accurate reserves, recommending increases for cases that exceed your authority. Protect financial and confidential information across all claim files. Monitor billing practices of outside and in‑house counsel ensuring compliance and effective cost management. Act as a resource to the team by mentoring colleagues, stepping in for the Claims Team Manager when required, or representing the company in regulatory matters. Engage in special projects as directed by leadership. Your Qualifications A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing complex and litigated casualty claims. In‑depth knowledge of severe and catastrophic injuries and fatalities. Strong analytical, negotiation, and judgment skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Professional integrity, empathy, and exceptional communication skills. If you reside within 50 miles of one of our hub locations, the role can be hybrid (2 days in office). For those located further, it may be entirely remote. The most suitable candidates will be situated in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones, as this position supports claims in Central and Southwest regions. Hub Locations Chandler, AZ; Clifton Park, NY; Columbus, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Lake Mary, FL; Liberty Lake, WA; Marlton, NJ; Plano, TX; Suwanee, GA; Warrenville, IL; Westborough, MA. Travel requirements for this role are approximately 10% for mediations, arbitrations, trials, or in‑person events.
