Public Relations Assistant - Entry Level

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to join our growing events and communications team. We work with clients across various industries to increase brand visibility, customer engagement, and public awareness through promotional events, community outreach, and experiential marketing.This is an entry-level opportunity for someone interested in public relations, event marketing, communications, promotions, and brand experiences. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, creative, and enjoys working with people in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.As a Public Relations Assistant, you will support the team with event planning, promotions, client engagement, brand activations, and community events while gaining hands‑on experience in public relations and event marketing. Key Responsibilities Assist with planning and executing promotional events, community events, and brand activations. Represent client brands at events and create positive customer experiences. Assist with event setup, breakdown, logistics, and on‑site coordination. Engage with customers and members of the community in a professional and friendly manner. Support event promotions, marketing campaigns, and brand awareness initiatives. Help coordinate event materials, schedules, supplies, and team assignments. Communicate with clients, team members, event partners, and customers. Assist with social media and content related to events and promotions. Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to develop new event ideas. Provide general administrative and organizational support as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with the public. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced event environment. Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic. Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and take initiative. Previous experience in events, marketing, promotions, customer service, or public relations is a plus but not required.
