Electrical - Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Lillington, NC
Schedule: Full-Time, Temp-Perm, 6A-430P Monday-Thursday. Overtime available as needed!
Pay: $16/hr
We are seeking an experienced Electrical - Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a manufacturing team in Lillington. This is a hands-on role assembling, testing and troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical products using drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components and systems
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and detailed drawings
- Use a variety of hand and power tools
- Perform drilling, cutting, bending and other fabrication tasks as needed
- Test completed electrical and mechanical assemblies
- Troubleshoot and correct assembly or electrical issues
- Perform and document quality inspections
- Assist with packaging and preparing finished products for shipment
- Maintain accurate production records and a clean, safe work area
What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years of electrical and/or mechanical assembly experience
- Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree is a plus
- Ability to work overtime as needed
