Make a real difference as a Special Education Teacher supporting elementary and Pre-K students in self-contained classrooms. This rewarding contract opportunity is based near Arlington, TN, and spans full-time hours Monday through Friday, continuing through early June. You’ll collaborate with dedicated educators, help young learners thrive, and make a lasting impact on their lives.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching License for Tennessee required
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary (K-5) and/or Pre-K students with diverse learning needs
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Able to begin as soon as all onboarding steps are completed (including required fingerprinting)

Role Details:

• Work in a self-contained classroom with elementary or Pre-K students
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet varied academic, behavioral, and social goals
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to provide a team-based approach for students
• Address individualized education program (IEP) goals and document progress
• Actively engage with families and guardians to support students’ educational journeys
