Local CDL-A Truck Driving Job – Experienced Solo Seat – Charlotte Metro

There's no living out of a sleeper berth or eating truck stop food here, just steady local runs and guaranteed daily home time.

Your Daily Runs & Work Style

• 100% Home Daily: You complete your local loops and head straight home to your family every day.
• The Route: You will run container connections across the Charlotte metro area.
• The Labor: This is standard intermodal work, mostly drop-and-hook, preloads, and standard live load/unloads. No physical loading or unloading is required on your part.
• Shifts: This terminal runs around the clock, so you will need to be flexible enough to handle both day and night dispatch slots.
• The Schedule: Weekend work is a standard part of the rotation to keep the shipping terminal moving smoothly.
• Holidays: While weekends are expected, you are guaranteed to be off on major calendar holidays so you can spend quality time with your family.

What We Need from You

• Hiring Area: You must live within 50 miles of the Charlotte terminal (Zip Code: 28201).
• Experience Level : This specific seat is reserved for solo, experienced drivers. You must have:
  • At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, OR
  • At least 12 months of experience within the last 5 years.
  • Please note: We cannot accept trainees or team drivers on this account.
• Credentials: A valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical card. No specialized endorsements (like Hazmat or Tanker) are needed to haul this freight.
• Background & Safety: You must have a solid driving and work history, and be able to pass a standard pre-employment drug screen.
