PC Assembler/Solder
Frequency Electronics
Hi- Rel Solder Hi-Rel Solder Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate must have 2-3 year's experience.
- Proficiency in soldering to IPC J-STD- A-610 Class 3 standards. - Certification in IPC J-ATD-001 and/or IPC-A-610. - Experience in working under a microscope and magnification and with fine-pitch components. - Familiarity with ESD protection procedures. - Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings. - Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity. Strong computer and written skills is a PLUS, willing to train an enthusiastic applicant willing to learn a new skill. Salary Range is 54K-58K annum depending on experience 100% on-site EOE/Disability/Veteran FEI offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, and a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match in company stock. We also provide a very generous paid time off policy, along with 11 paid holidays. In addition, we operate on a 9/80 work schedule, which gives employees every other Friday off. This schedule includes longer workdays-9 hours and 45 minutes with a mandatory 45-minute lunch break. One week consists of four workdays (36 hours), and the following week includes five workdays (45 hours). Despite this variation, employees are paid for a consistent 40-hour workweek, with weekly pay.
- Perform precision hand soldering of surface-mount and through-hole components to IPC Class 3 standards.
- Responsible for assembling and soldering high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sub assemblies in accordance with industry standards such as IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610.
- The candidate should have working knowledge of Operating soldering equipment, microscopes, and other assembly tools.
- Must be able to read and interpret assembly documents and engineering drawings.
