How You Will Contribute To The Team As a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT), you will be responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and care of residents with breathing disorders. Under the direction of a physician, you will set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment to diagnose and treat respiratory diseases, while carefully monitoring each resident’s physiological responses to therapy. Must Have 2-4 years of experience providing direct respiratory therapy. Current respiratory license in the state. Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations. Current and valid CPR/BLS certification. Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care. Nice To Have Experience working with multiple residents. Experience in an acute care respiratory unit or skilled nursing environment. Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
