Overview

This 20-week travel nursing assignment begins on 8/17/2026 and offers 36 hours per week on 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). The unit is a 54-room Emergency Department with 48 beds, serving approximately 220 patients per day in a Level II Trauma Center with a collaborative care environment and strong interdisciplinary support.

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• At least 1 year of ED travel nurse experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency room or emergency department setting
• Strong comfort with Epic charting and electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to care for patients across the lifespan, including pediatrics and adults

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of acuity levels
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring in a busy ER environment
• Support trauma, stroke, STEMI, and other critical emergency presentations
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and support ventilated or sedated patients as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate timely patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safe, efficient clinical practices
• Work effectively on nights, weekends, and occasional holidays as part of the healthcare team
