About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP Financial Advisor and Financial Advisor to join its team in Monmouth County, NJ. The successful candidate will be part of a large, independent RIA that provides comprehensive wealth management and financial planning services. The role is pivotal in the firm's team-based model, which integrates specialists across various financial planning areas. The ideal candidate will have a portable book of business, be responsible for servicing existing clients, and be dedicated to building new relationships. The company values a collaborative work environment and the role offers the opportunity to work closely with a seasoned advisor in the field. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum portable book of business of $40MM, with the expectation that assets will transfer upon transition. A Series 7 and 65/66 are required, with a CFP strongly preferred. The role demands a professional with at least 5 years' of experience in managing client relationships and generating new business, a strong track record in building a book, and solid experience in trading, investment management, and financial planning. It is essential that the candidate has no non-compete or restrictive covenants that would limit portability and is based in Monmouth County, NJ, or within a 20-mile radius. The company offers a competitive compensation package that is aligned with market rates.
