$20.00 per hour
Additional $2.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift after training is complete

Shift:

2nd, 4:45pm-3:15am, Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat

Remedy Staffing has immediate openings for experienced Forklift Operators at a leading distribution warehouse in Cedar Rapids, IA. This facility supports product distribution across the United States and offers a great opportunity for candidates seeking long-term employment.

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity! Qualified candidates may have the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on attendance and performance.

Position Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and accurately moving products throughout the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trailers, storing inventory, replenishing stock, and maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).

Key Responsibilities

Accurately load palatalized products for customer orders using a warehouse management system (WMS)
Unload incoming shipments and place products in designated warehouse locations
Inspect products for damage and ensure damaged items are processed appropriately before storage
Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently
Perform inventory counts and verify inventory accuracy within assigned warehouse locations
Support warehouse operations including:
- Inbound receiving
- Outbound shipping
- Quality hold management
- Display staging
- Case-pick replenishment
- Material handling functions
