Industrial Mechanic

Job Overview Industrial Mechanic – Winder, GA plant. Base hourly rate: $33.19. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing production and facilities equipment, and ensuring maximum equipment efficiency. Work Schedule Rotating shift schedule (2‑2‑3 / 12‑hour shifts) including days, nights, overtime, holidays, and weekends. On‑train days may be required. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, including hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems. Repair or replace damaged components to maintain production line reliability. Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks to maximize equipment efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures. Maintain adequate inventory of repair parts and tools. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational certification preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment troubleshooting, including hydraulics and pneumatics. Welding experience and knowledge required; ability to repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical components. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and drawings. Physical capability to lift 75 pounds, work at heights, and carry own tools. Must pass a drug screening, background check, and medical clearance.
