About the Role

The Company is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal guidance and support on a wide range of issues, with a focus on corporate governance, intellectual property, and contract law. This role involves a significant amount of commercial work, including the review and negotiation of complex agreements, and a strong emphasis on client-facing activities. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, be a member in good standing with the state bar of California, and have at least 10 years' of legal experience, with recent work in an AdTech environment. A solid grounding in privacy fundamentals and a startup-oriented mindset are essential. Key responsibilities for the Associate General Counsel include drafting, reviewing, and interpreting various contracts, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and proactively managing legal and regulatory risks. The role also requires the development and implementation of legal strategies and policies to support business objectives. The candidate should have a strong knowledge of technology law, intellectual property law, and corporate governance, as well as excellent legal research and writing skills. The position demands an individual who is agile, proactive, and collaborative, and who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
