Respiratory Therapist - Permanent and Full-Time Hire
Eligible for up to a $25,000 Sign-On Bonus and $5,000 Relocation Bonus
Job Summary:The Respiratory Care Therapist is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating respiratory care services in alignment with hospital standards and department protocols to monitor and enhance patient well-being.
Requirements:- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
- Valid Oklahoma Provisional/Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP) or temporary letter from the Oklahoma Medical Board
- Certified/Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) through the NBRC
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 2 months of hire
- 0-6 months of related experience
- Proficient in respiratory care procedures such as medication administration, ventilator management, and intubation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
- Deliver respiratory care interventions considering patient demographics and psychosocial factors
- Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilation settings
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
