Accounting Specialist

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing organization seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review customer and vendor invoices with a high level of accuracy
• Enter invoice data and ensure proper documentation
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts to the general ledger
• Match invoices to purchase orders or sales orders and research discrepancies
• Communicate with vendors to resolve billing questions or payment issues
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits and internal reviews
• Assist with weekly ACH payment runs
• Support month-end close activities and ongoing accounting processes
• Partner with internal departments to improve workflows and resolve issues

Qualifications:

• 13 years of accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
