Remodeling Sales Advisor

As we grow toward $8 million in annual revenue, we are looking for a dynamic Sales Consultant to help guide clients through the early stages of our remodeling process and close high-quality projects that align with our brand and values. About the Role The Remodeling Sales Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Emeryville, CA, reporting to the Sales Manager. This position plays a vital role in generating and converting leads into successful design-build projects by meeting with prospective and existing clients, understanding their remodeling needs, and presenting tailored design-build solutions and estimates. Day-to-day tasks include conducting in-home consultations, qualifying leads, preparing proposals, and guiding clients through the firm’s remodeling process from initial inquiry to signed contract. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, following up on open opportunities, and supporting ongoing client relationships to encourage referrals and repeat business. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in residential remodeling, construction sales, or design-related services. Strong interpersonal skills to build trust, listen effectively, and establish long-term client relationships. Clear, professional communication skills for explaining project scopes, timelines, and budgets in accessible terms. Customer service skills to manage expectations, respond to inquiries, and provide a positive client experience throughout the remodeling process. Sales skills, including lead qualification, consultative selling, and closing, ideally within residential remodeling or a related industry. Training skills to support client education on the design-build process and to collaborate with internal teams on best practices. Experience in residential construction, remodeling, or design-build environments is strongly preferred. Ability to work on-site in Emeryville, CA, and visit local client homes. Proficiency with basic office software and CRM tools to track leads, proposals, and client communication.
