About the Job School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional. Building Connections Academy - Martinez, CA. About the Role:
- Hours: In-person, Monday to Thursday, 8:20AM to 3:00PM and Friday, 8:20AM to 2:00PM.
- Pay: $22-$28/HR (based on experience, certification, and education).
- Certification: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required or willingness to become certified within 90 days (paid training included!).
- Meaningful, hands-on work helping students reach their potential.
- Support and supervision from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Ongoing training and professional development.
- Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement.

- RBT certification (or willing to obtain within 90 days).
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's in related field preferred).
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
- Required immunizations including MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hep B, and TB clearance (within 4 years).
