Assistant General Manager
Le Café Louis Vuitton, affiliated with STARR Restaurants, is a one-of-a-kind gastronomic destination for food and culture. Its exceptional culinary experience is complemented by an award-winning wine program, recognized with the Wine Spectator 2026 Award of Excellence, and a thoughtfully curated craft cocktail program featuring both timeless classics and innovative seasonal creations. Located on the fourth floor of the flagship Louis Vuitton store at 6 East 57th Street, the café invites guests to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of cultural inspiration while enjoying a creative menu developed in collaboration with Chef Kylian Goussot and acclaimed French chefs Arnaud Donckele and Maxime Frédéric.
We are seeking a charismatic, hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager to join the leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to mentor and retain a vibrant staff while running a successful food & beverage department. You will ensure that the quality of service and food and beverages are continually monitored and delivered with grace and integrity.
This position offers a comprehensive package including: A base salary range of $90,000 - $100,000 plus quarterly bonus potential up to 15%, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, paid vacation and paid sick time, and dining discounts at over 25 affiliated STARR Restaurants.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-end, service-focused restaurant
- Proven leadership capabilities that have focused on training and developing staff through a "coach-player" philosophy
- Demonstrated financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and controlling labor and operating costs
- The ability to drive performance and success without compromising hospitality and service standards
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
