Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry and exit activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery traffic to help support authorized access throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Observe and report unusual activity, equipment issues, and/or policy violations, and complete required logs and reports related to security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
