Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Maryland Music Therapy License required
• Experience working with school-aged children in a general education or therapeutic setting preferred
• Proficiency in designing and delivering group and individual music therapy sessions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with students, families, and educational teams
• Ability to work onsite at multiple school locations within Frederick County

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct music therapy sessions within general education classrooms and one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to adapt and integrate therapy plans
• Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate documentation and ongoing evaluations
• Attend and contribute to team meetings, providing insights to optimize student outcomes
