What Makes This Role Unique Geriatric Psychiatric Focus Develop deep expertise in geriatric psychiatry, including dementia‑related behaviors, depression, anxiety, and complex neurocognitive conditions. Autonomy with Support Practice independently while being fully supported by a dedicated medical assistant and medical scribe, allowing you to spend your time where it matters most—patient care. Your Responsibilities Include Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for geriatric patients in home and facility‑based settings. Diagnose and manage mood disorders, anxiety disorders, dementia‑related behavioral symptoms, and other psychiatric conditions. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with careful consideration of comorbidities and geriatric physiology. Provide crisis intervention, behavioral guidance, and family education when clinically indicated. Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and facility care teams to ensure coordinated, whole‑person care. Build trusted relationships with patients, caregivers, families, and community partners. Maintain consistent, accurate clinical documentation and follow‑through. Compensation & Benefits Competitive Compensation Guaranteed Base Salary + Productivity Total annual compensation range: $150,000–$200,000+, based on experience, caseload, and availability.
