Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference supporting K-12 students in a dynamic Special Education setting for the upcoming ESY and NSY academic terms. This contract social work opportunity offers the chance to foster emotional and behavioral growth, advocate for students’ needs, and collaborate closely with school personnel. The assignment is fully onsite and located conveniently near Clinton Township, MI.

Key Qualifications:

• Active school social worker certification (310) required—please provide documentation when applying.
• Experience as a social worker within schools, preferably across a diverse K-12 population.
• Familiarity with supporting special education students and knowledge of relevant practices.
• If certification (310) is not currently held, appropriate supervision arrangements must be established before proceeding in the hiring process.
• Commitment to onsite-only work; remote or hybrid options are not available.

Position Details:

• Extended School Year (ESY): 6/30/2026 – 8/6/2026, up to 25 hours per week.
• New School Year (NSY): 8/17/2026 – 6/11/2027, up to 35 hours per week.
• Engage directly with students, families, and educational teams to deliver social-emotional support and intervention.
• Assist in IEP development and implementation for students with special needs.
• Advocate for student access to community resources and support services.
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
