Overview Performs diagnostic, habilitative, and rehabilitative services related to the Auditory and Vestibular systems on both adults and children. Responsibilities Determine appropriate test type, procedure, and length of evaluation. Analyze findings and make appropriate recommendations. Determine appropriate referrals. Determine appropriate follow-up. Determine appropriate habilitative or rehabilitative strategies. Audiometers experience. Immittance bridges experience. Auditory Brainstem Response equipment. Videonystagmography / Electronystagmography equipment experience. Otoacoustic Emission equipment experience. Otoscopes experience. Proficiency in Montefiore’s current electronic medical record system, EPIC, and working knowledge of EMR and EPF. Requirements Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) as of 2007. NYS Licensure in Audiology. NYS Hearing Aid Dispensers License. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC/A). Note: Audiologists graduating prior to 2007 need to have a Master’s Degree in Audiology, along with NYS Licensure in Audiology as well as a NYS Hearing Aid Dispensers License, and CCC/A. #J-18808-Ljbffr
