Security Architect

Cybersecurity Architect

Pay Range: $70hr - $75hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
• Expertise in network security, cloud security, and application security.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Experience with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture principles and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud architectures, microservices, and API design.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and security projects.

Experience:

• 8–12 years of experience in IT security roles.
• Prior experience as a Security Engineer, Security Consultant, or Systems Architect.
• Experience identifying vulnerabilities and conducting enterprise risk assessments.
• Experience guiding implementation of security solutions including firewalls, IAM, encryption, and SIEM platforms.
• Experience securing cloud environments and third-party integrations.
• Experience aligning security architecture with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture frameworks.
• Define security controls, policies, and standards for systems, applications, and networks.
• Identify vulnerabilities and assess risks across IT environments.
• Recommend mitigation strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Guide technical teams in deploying security solutions and secure integrations.
• Oversee secure implementation of cloud services and third-party systems.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on cybersecurity strategy.
• Align security initiatives with business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Oversee incident detection and response frameworks.
• Continuously evaluate emerging threats and update security controls.
• Architect and design comprehensive solutions aligned with project scope and standards.
• Mentor and train team members on architectural best practices.
• Research and implement emerging technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored security solutions.

Should Have:

• Experience leading enterprise-wide security transformation initiatives.

• Experience implementing zero-trust or advanced security architectures.

Qualification and Education:
