Jupiter Medical Center is the only hospital in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties to receive a 4-star quality and safety rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).**Education*** Two (2) years of college**Experience / Qualifications*** Current State of Florida License* Current ARRT, CT Registry Required or obtained within 6 months of hire date* American Heart Association BLS, for Heath Care Provider* Proficient computer skills* Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing**Position Summary**The CT Technologist performs all CT procedures, abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax and extremities.* Demonstrates knowledge of advanced computer applications including PACS and Image manipulation for image enhancement.* Demonsrates advanced knowledge of the human anatomy & pathology and can use this knowledge to provide quality CT images for interpretation.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Team Member Competencies**Establishing RelationshipsBuilds effective networks, working relationships, and alliances in order to collaborate effectively within department and organization. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert and self-motivated.
