Marketing Manager

Position Overview The Consumer Marketing team is seeking an experienced, versatile Marketing Manager to cover a 4-6 month maternity leave. Depending on your background and expertise, you will be aligned to one of two critical functions: Trade Marketing (partnering with our national retail sales team to execute major retail promotions) or Product Marketing (working alongside R&D to drive product development and line extensions for our consumer portfolio). Essential Job Functions
- Product Vision: Author short- and long-term product strategies based heavily on data-backed consumer insights, merchandising trends, and innovation pipelines.
- Line Planning: Manage the comprehensive line planning process by synthesizing feedback from cross-functional teams into clear product roadmap recommendations.
- Category Expertise: Serve as the consumer subject matter expert by proactively identifying channel and product gaps using data, social listening, and industry relationships.
- R&D Collaboration: Work tightly with Design, Product Engineering, Consumer Insights, and Sales to build concepts, prototypes, and testing frameworks.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandising, Product Management, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Experience: 7+ years of category management, product marketing, or product line management experience (preferably with a consumer goods brand).
- Product Launch Track Record: Proven success managing new-product development (NPD) or line-extension projects from early ideation through market launch.
- Skills: Deep analytical capabilities paired with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; high proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
