Must-Have: Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.

Description: Profiles go directly over to the manager for consideration. A copy of the driver's license is needed at the time of submittal to validate legal name. The system must reflect the name on a government-issued ID, with no middle initial or middle name required. First to float between two campuses as needed. Call-outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination. May be asked to precept, as needed by the unit. Department: Radiology (CT) Unit will provide the radiation dosimetry badge. Scanners include three GE scanners (one 16-slice and two 64-slice). Types of studies involve CTs with and without contrast. Experience in ER and inpatient settings is preferred. Average number of scans per day: 16 - 24. Electronic medical record and PACS systems used: Meditech and Fuji. Radiologists are in-house during the day and virtually present at night for emergencies. Must be able to start IVs. Weekend and holiday shifts required, rotating as needed. Call responsibilities are required and will be discussed in the interview. 30-minute response time is expected for call. The call rotation occurs every sixth week. Scrubs must be black and are not provided. Department-specific orientation is required. Cancellation policy allows for up to four shifts to be canceled per 13-week assignment. Emergency trauma services supported. Care setting is acute. Division: Allied. Shift notes: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., seven on/seven off, with call responsibilities. Required certifications include BLS and ARRT (CT).
