Learn more about how the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is helping to transform healthcare here: [ This position is intended to be [eligible for benefits]( This includes Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, a Retirement Plan, Paid time Off, and Tuition waivers for employees and dependents. *Position Summary* The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Peoria campus of the University of Illinois College of Medicine seeks four full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians to provide comprehensive health care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including actively participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students. *Job Duties & Responsibilities* * Provide patient care in Maternal Fetal Medicine. * Teach, train, mentor, and precept residents and medical students in the context of clinical Maternal Fetal Medicine. * Consultative model allowing Maternal Fetal Medicine to attend deliveries if preferred but not required. * Supported by 6 APPs, ARDMS certified sonographers, 2 diabetes educators, 2 perinatal nutritionists and a genetic counselor. * Works collaboratively with Children's Hospital of Illinois and University of Illinois subspecialties, including Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery. * Develop/deliver academic presentations. * Shared call. * Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. *Minimum Qualifications (required)* * MD or DO. * Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine. * Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively. *Preferred Qualifications (optional)* * Demonstrated ability to teach residents and medical students. * Interest in academic leadership roles and scholarly activities.
