As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in Manassas, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will manage visitor entry, verify credentials, support badge access processes, and maintain a professional presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and manage access control systems, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entry points, business areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, access requests, and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
