Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Location: Dupont Hospital, IN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights, 4 shifts of 12 hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide care for obstetrical patients. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced, high-acuity unit as part of a Level 3 Perinatal Center, assisting with various care needs such as preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM), spontaneous rupture of membranes (SROM), labor assessments, induction of labor, cesarean delivery, pre-eclampsia management, and antepartum concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide bedside care for obstetric patients with varying needs.
  • Monitor and assess patients throughout the labor and delivery process.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
  • Respond to emergencies and assist with complex deliveries.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Indiana.
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
  • A minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience is required.
