Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

This position provides direct and indirect patient care within the assigned setting, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. It involves utilizing critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to preserve patient dignity, autonomy, and rights, while promoting health restoration where possible. Key Responsibilities Performing accurate patient assessments based on medical conditions. Administering prescribed medications and providing age-appropriate care. Developing and evaluating patient and family teaching plans. Utilizing nursing knowledge for treatments and services. Collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care. Assisting with procedures and performing technical skills. Addressing psychosocial needs and coordinating with social services for discharge planning. Practicing cost-effective resource management. Prioritizing patient care and promoting safety to minimize harm. Engaging in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program. RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS/PALS preferred. Computer literacy required; additional certifications are advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
