TW Metals stands for integrity, respect for the individual, commitment, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.Responsibilities: Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment by performing the following duties:Counts material in stock and posts totals to inventory records.Compares actual inventories to records in Metalware.Adjusts errors in computation or count and/or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.Employees must be willing to assist in other areas of operations as neededQualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or One-year certificate from college or technical schoolExperience in metals industry is preferredEffective communication skills which include verbal and written in EnglishBasic computer skills are necessaryMust have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and WordWillingness to learn mainframe program (internal computer system)Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, or other measuring deviceWillingness to learn to operate forklift/side loader and such along with cutting equipmentKnowledge of basic math skillsPhysical Demands: Physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
