Registered Respiratory Therapist in Bel Air, MD

This position offers the flexibility to work either day or night shifts in a contract opportunity spanning 13 weeks. Schedule/Hours:

• Day and night shifts available

Qualifications:

• Current licensure or certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Comfortable providing care to diverse patient populations in acute care environments
• Experience floating between multiple hospital units or locations is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, airway management, and patient assessments
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans
• Monitor patient progress and manage respiratory treatments safely and efficiently
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, therapies, and equipment usage
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines
