Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is a modern, state-of-the-art 295-bed acute care facility, offering an advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation amongst other specialty services. How you'll contribute A Monitor Technician who excels in this role: Under the supervision of an RN, performs telemetry monitoring. Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors. Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts. Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Tests equipment for proper working order. Reports equipment problems to supervisor. What we're looking for Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent required.
