As a Production Lead, you will advise department personnel on production output, overseeing quality, quantity, efficiency, and safety. This is a safety-sensitive position. The Production Lead will support this mission utilizing our trust, bias for action, and entrepreneurial cultural attributes.
Key Responsibilities
To successfully perform as a Production Lead, an individual must be able to meet each essential duty satisfactorily between the hours of 6pm-430am Monday through Thursday, and work overtime as needed, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Key Responsibilities
- Assign daily duties and tasks to department personnel.
- Advise personnel on job-related issues.
- Supervise quality, quantity, efficiency, and safety issues within the department.
- Directly supervise up to 20 employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to calculate material usages, rates, pieces per hour, and the number of employees needed.
- Ability to calculate commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Forklift License
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to climb or balance.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
