Senior IT Project Manager

The Senior IT Project Manager will implement and oversee medium to large-scale enterprise projects, collaborating with IT teams and end-user communities to ensure seamless execution. Primary Responsibilities: Manage enterprise-wide medium to large-scale projects , including resource mobilization, milestone definition, project planning, and activity monitoring. Establish and oversee release guidelines , inventory controls, and project closure processes. Implement enterprise applications and software that improve staff productivity and operational efficiency. Publish metrics, status updates, and dashboards while organizing review meetings with senior management. Ensure compliance with audit requirements, SOX regulations, and operational controls . Develop project scope, objectives, schedules, contingency plans , and risk mitigation strategies. Assist with resolving project issues, managing risks, and coordinating activities with other functional and technical teams. Adopt appropriate project methodologies and documentation standards . Perform other related tasks as required by management. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration. 5+ years of Project Management experience in Information Technology. Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies . Ability to travel up to 20% (car or air) for business unit visits. Excellent multi-tasking, relationship-building, and communication skills . P referred Qualifications: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Certifications such as PMI/PMP and Scrum Master are highly desirable. Experience with Azure DevOps for managing project tasks and user stories. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with logistical tools like Descartes . Prior experience in transportation and logistics or the HAZ Waste industry is an advantage. Why Join Arka Innovate?
