CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Change tooling once it expires and perform oil changes on the machine.
• Conduct hourly in-process inspections of parts using gauges and micrometers.
• Collaborate with the quality team for random piece inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Read and interpret prints with strong attention to detail.
• Utilize a solid understanding of tooling and CNC setup.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years in a CNC operating role.
• Proficiency in inspecting parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret prints with a strong attention to detail.
• Comprehensive understanding of tooling, CNC programming, and hydromat operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Hydromat machines is highly desirable.
• Experience with Davenports is transferable and beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and adapt if coming from a milling or lathe role

Work Environment

Work a first shift from 7 AM to 3 PM in a mid-size, well-maintained shop

This is a Permanent position based out of Oxford, MA.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $79040.00/yr.
