Strategic Account Manager, Advanced Surgery - Ohio

Strategic Account Manager for Advanced Surgery at Baxter, covering Ohio and Pittsburgh. Drives new account sales and expands existing business in surgical hemostasis, sealing, and soft tissue repair products across multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with surgeons, nurses, OR staff, and hospital administration
  • Develop and implement local and regional sales strategies to defend and expand product portfolio
  • Increase on-label product usage through OR presence, in-servicing, and educational programs
  • Conduct quarterly Customer Business Reviews with hospital leadership and lead monthly sales discussions
  • Attend surgical conferences and build relationships with key opinion leaders in the cardiovascular space

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience or 8+ years operating room sales
  • Hospital-based operating room selling experience and large territory leadership
  • Strategic selling methodologies to identify needs and influence stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
  • Valid driver's license; at least 50% travel required
  • Residency in Ohio/Pittsburgh area or willingness to relocate; familiarity with territory strongly desired

Compensation: $100,000-$135,000 annually, plus Sales Incentive Plan
