We help patients avoid unnecessary surgery through advanced ultrasound-guided procedures, regenerative medicine, and personalized treatment plans. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and energetic Medical Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients and thrives in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories and vital signs Prepare patients for physician examinations and procedures Assist with ultrasound-guided joint and soft tissue injections Set up and maintain sterile procedure trays and equipment Perform venipuncture and specimen collection Prepare PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) processing equipment (training provided) Administer injections and medications as permitted by Florida law Clean, sterilize, and stock examination and procedure rooms Accurately document patient information within the EMR (Athena) Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure instructions Answer phones and assist with general front office duties when needed Maintain a professional, welcoming experience for every patient Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records Positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills Preferred Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) Orthopedic, sports medicine, pain management, or urgent care experience Phlebotomy experience Experience assisting with procedures Athenahealth EMR experience What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is: Friendly and compassionate Highly dependable and punctual Self-motivated and proactive Detail-oriented A team player with a strong work ethic Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care Comfortable learning new skills and procedures Why Join Our Team?
