VCA Knapp's Corner Animal Hospital is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

Since opening our doors in October 2024, we've quickly grown into a thriving 4-doctor hospital built on collaboration, accountability, and a shared commitment to exceptional patient care. What You'll Do

• Support doctors and technicians with patient care, treatments, and procedures

• Obtain patient histories and assist with exams

• Perform veterinary assistant duties confidently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Provide compassionate client communication and education

• Help maintain safe, clean, and organized treatment and hospital spaces

• Work collaboratively to deliver an exceptional experience for patients, clients, and teammates

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Previous experience working as a Veterinary Assistant in a veterinary hospital

• Strong animal handling and restraint skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Excellent communication and client service skills

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow

Preferred:

• Experience with surgery support, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, laboratory procedures, or radiology

• Fear Free experience or certification

• Veterinary assistant certification

Compensation

Competitive pay based on experience, skills, education, and credentials.

Schedule

Full-time opportunity available. Open Mondays - Saturdays.
