Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient position available in Burke, Virginia. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, and ensuring safe and effective rehabilitation to promote patient recovery and community reintegration. The position emphasizes adherence to professional standards, safety, and quality of care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 8 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 2 Years of Outpatient Clinical Experience; CPR Certification; maintains an active/applicable license for the state where work will be performed; minimum experience of 0 years
• Preferred Qualifications: Has successfully completed an assignment with your agency previously (highly desired); has completed an assignment with the organization previously (nice to have)
• Additional Information:
  • Completes comprehensive evaluations and develops treatment plans focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
  • Performs timely and precise documentation, including goal writing, functional assessments, and letters of medical necessity
  • Participates in student programs, providing supervision and evaluation for learners
  • Pursues ongoing professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional organizations
  • Adheres to state practice acts and maintains licensure in good standing
  • Engages with organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality
  • Demonstrates behaviors aligned with the organizations Mission Statement and Core Values, emphasizing safety, teamwork, and patient-centered care
