EMT - I - No Overnight Shifts

Job Description Must have Active EMT-I License Schedule Requirement: This role requires availability for nights and weekends. Standard coverage hours are 5:00am–9:00pm on weekdays and 6:00am–5:00pm on weekends . Starting pay is $25 per hour, may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, and fit. About the Role As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse), you will report to the Plasma Center Manager, support plasma center operations, determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review lab results, notify donors of unsuitable results, and work under guidance of Center Manager and Physician. You will also support EHS and be familiar with industry regulations. How You Will Contribute Determine donor eligibility, manage informed consent, education on AIDS, self‑exclusion, interview, acceptance requirements, physical exam, blood testing, and review SPE. Evaluate donor reactions, follow SOPs for medical emergencies, and coordinate emergency transport. Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical guidance. Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and determine need for further evaluation by occupational health/ER. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS. Qualifications High school diploma or recognized nursing program with state requirements. Currently licensed or certified in the state: EMT‑Paramedic. Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy. Complete FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years in a clinical or hospital setting. Benefits and Compensation Hourly wage range: $25.20 - $34.65.
