Role: Event Producer

Role Summary:

The Event Producer works in collaboration with Catering Sales Managers to plan events, manage the administrative details of events, communicate with clients as needed, and deliver great hospitality experiences. Responsibilities include utilizing event softwares to accurately detail event needs, staffing needs, menu items and any other event details. Event Producers are passionate about food, drink, service, and hospitality.

R esponsibilities

• Coordinate, document, and communicate event details to various departments to make sure all all events are set up for success and have correct menu items, equipment, staffing and timelines
• Collaborate with Catering Sales Managers and support client relations by attending client calls, meetings, and events as needed to deliver great client relations and meet client expectations
• Manage invoicing by making sure all invoice details are correct, sending invoices and payment links, and documenting payments / outstanding payments
• Coordinate 3rd party rental needs with various event vendors and collaborations
• Distribute devent details through multiple forms of communications including catering software, sharing event worksheets, attending BEO meetings, and staffing software
• Promote the company’s catering services to win new business and field opportunities
• Work in Total Party Planner, NOWSTA, CANVA, PartySlate, and CVENT to prepare for events as needed by creating staffing plans, signage, menus, timelines, floor plans, and event design
• Other responsibilities as needed to deliver great hospitality for event clients

Qualifications

• Catering, hospitality, restaurant experiencee
• Sales and/or client relations experience
• Great teamwork and hospitality skills
• Proficient in company’s technology
• Strong communication skills
• Able to grasp and reach overhead
• Must be able to lift, move, and carry 50+lbs
• Must be able to work 8+ hours a day on feet
• Servsafe allergen certified (or willing to obtain upon starting)
