Registered Nurse - Medical Telemetry

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM

Job Description: The Medical Telemetry unit is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering positive impacts on patient health and collaborating effectively with a compassionate team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist in various medical interventions.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring equipment and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ensure a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have active BLS certification.
• Experience in medical telemetry is required.
• Leadership experience and Charge Nurse experience are preferred.
• BSN or higher nursing degree is preferred.
