The ideal candidate will have transportation and supply chain experience, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven ability to manage logistics operations while driving service, efficiency, and continuous improvement across a dynamic transportation network.Job Title: Transportation PlannerLocation: Hoboken, NJ (Hybrid)Contract: 1 YearPay Range: $23 - $27 hourlyWhat’s the Job?Manage transportation operations across Unilever’s factory network, ensuring optimal service and execution for customer shipments. Partner with customers, warehouses, carriers, and logistics providers to support on-time delivery and operational excellence. Monitor and balance key transportation KPIs to drive efficiency, improve service, and reduce costs. Analyze transportation performance, identify trends and losses, and recommend solutions to improve network performance. Leverage Excel, Power BI, and supply chain systems to create reporting, support decision-making, and communicate business insights. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop distribution solutions that align customer needs with supply chain objectives.What’s Needed?Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.Minimum 2 years of logistics and supply chain experience (or 6 years of relevant experience without a Bachelor’s degree).Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Power BI, PowerPoint, and integrated business systems.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills with the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.
